HIS 33700 The Soviet Union and European Communism

This course will examine the history of the Soviet Union. It will focus on several themes, including the nature and role of the communist party, the experiences of the Soviet peoples, and the impact that the rise to power of the Communists had on the world outside of the Soviet Union, in particular Europe.
