PSY 34300 Clinical Neuroscience

This course is designed to explore the neurobiological, genetic, and neurochemical etiology of mental illness and disorders of the brain. We focus on psychology, neuroscience research, and pharmacology in order to understand the role biological factors play when our brains and minds go awry. The goal of the course is for students to come away with an appreciation of the anatomic, functional, and cognitive substrates underlying human behavior and neuropsychological disorders.
