EDL 56500 Real World Literacy

In a time of constant and never-ending access and exposure to all kinds of media, it has never been more important to be able to discern fact from fiction and have the ability to process information. This course will look at the way informational sources are created, used, and how the library plays an important role in helping students discern validity, reliability, and authenticity. One section of this class will offer an experiential learning opportunity for students.
