Academic Support Counseling

The Institute offers free academic support counseling.  The primary role of an academic support counselor is to support students who have academic, personal, behavioral, or cultural needs or concerns that impact their academic or clinical success.  Students may approach the academic support counselor or may be referred by the students’ faculty advisor, Program Director, or the Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures.

The academic support counselor for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) offers is Mike Boutin, EdD, Assistant Dean for Faculty and Student Success.  His office is located within the Office of Student and Alumni Services suite in Building 39.
