Accommodations during Examinations

MGH Institute of Health Professions views disability as an important aspect of diversity and is committed to providing equitable access to learning opportunities for all students. Accessibility Resources is the campus office that collaborates with students and faculty to provide and/or arrange reasonable accommodations for students who have documented disabilities.

Students who require accommodations during class and examinations must be registered with Accessibility Resources at the Office of Student and Alumni Services (OSAS). Staff from Accessibility Resources will notify the course instructor and Program Coordinator of the accommodations that should be made. The PhD RS Program Coordinator will handle the scheduling of different rooms or test times, as needed.

If you have, or think you have, a disability in any area such as attention, learning, chronic health, sensory, mental health, physical, or a temporary medical condition which impacts your ability to access learning activities, please contact Accessibility Resources to arrange a confidential discussion regarding equitable access and reasonable accommodations.

Requesting accommodations is the responsibility of the student and must follow all procedures established by OSAS. For more information, contact the Director of Accessibility Resources at ihpar@mghihp.edu.
