KBPA 175 Event and Catering Cakes

Cake showpieces for special events, which build client recognition and brand awareness, are the focus of this course. Students learn to make large-scale celebration cakes from developing a design, highlighting the client’s brand and significant event - all the way through delivery. The final project is a custom-designed cake for a client of the student’s choosing. All culinary and baking/pastry lab courses require a C or better for a passing grade. Pre-requisite(s): KBPA 100. Co-requisite(s): None. 3 quarter hours
