Early Childhood Special Education Approval
Students may earn an Early Childhood Special Education approval on a Professional Educator License already endorsed for self-contained general education (age 0 to grade 3) or LBS I (K to age 22) by having the following four courses required by the Illinois State Board of Education.
In addition to the National Louis University Graduate Admission Requirements, applicants must:
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in the teaching field (teaching endorsements can’t be added to administrative and school support PEL’s)
Program Details:
- Requires 12 SH for completion
- A grade of “C” or better in all coursework is required
