Art 118 Introduction to Typography and Communication Design

Applies the fundamental design principles covered in 2-D design and color theory to the visual language of communication design—specifically typography. Projects address the various roles of typography within the discipline. Methods, strategies, and processes for thinking creatively and solving design problems are investigated. Manual skills with tools are developed.
