Comm 587 Propaganda, Public Relations, and Media

The course encourages students to think critically about how mass media promote ideologies and agendas to influence opinion, policies and sales. Theories of media effects, propaganda and public relations explored. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Comm 487 and may be taken only once for credit.
