Hst 533 Colonial American and U.S. Social and Intellectual History

Hst 433/533: 1600-1860. Each term will examine three or four aspects of American social and intellectual history-such as race, class, religion and philosophy, ideology and politics, community, region, or labor. This is the first course in a sequence of two: Hst 533 and Hst 534. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Hst 433 and may be taken only once for credit.
