Anth 572 Population Dynamics
The study of the principles of Mendelian and population genetics as they apply to the evolution of human populations and the maintenance of diversity in modern populations. Emphasis also is placed on the articulation of genetic methods with evolutionary theory. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Anth 472 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Anth 372; 2 years of high school algebra or equivalent; Bi 341 as a pre- or corequisite.
