Bi 462 Neurophysiology

Anatomy of the vertebrate central nervous system (CNS). Topics include: Chemical and electrical signaling between cells in the CNS, pharmacological intervention, visual and somatosensory systems, learning, memory, and simple motor pattern generators. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Bi 562 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Bi 336 and Ph 203.
