ELP 540 Urban Farm Education: Leveraging Policy and Research to Cultivate Garden-Based Education in Practice
Students explore the policy and research context surrounding garden-based education in schools and communities with a focus on instructional design and assessment. As a learning community, students examine how policies and educational practices can pose barriers or potential leverage points for systemic change, and develop and teach integrated garden-based curriculum. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ELP 440 and may be taken only once for credit.
