The Screendance minor is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Department of Theatre & Dance and Department of Communication. The minor is designed to provide students with a broad-spectrum within dance and technology. With a combination of dance movement courses, video production courses, theory courses, and electives to choose from, the program appeals to students who hope to consider a career in dance or video production and will pursue additional training at the graduate level or professionally; those students who intend to incorporate dance and film training into their careers in community action, cultural organizations, human services, business, education and marketing; students who will incorporate dance and film into an interdisciplinary major in the arts; and student who intend to pursue a career in the commercial industry. Students can easily add this minor to any major to support their undergraduate experience with their interests.
