CSIT 311 Assembly and Microprocessor Programming

This course introduces the principles of low-level programming and microprocessor architecture. Students will learn to write programs in assembly language and understand how software interacts directly with hardware. Topics include instruction sets, memory addressing, registers, input/output operations, and interrupt handling. The course emphasizes hands-on programming with microprocessors to develop a deep understanding of system-level operations and performance optimization.
