EDUC 421 Principals of Teaching and Learning in Inclusive Classrooms
Examines learner similarities and differences in complex diverse schools and classrooms. Practice in Professional Development Schools integrates inclusive strategies based upon theory and research in children's learning, emphasizing education for diverse student needs. Observations encompass teacher decision-making, student assessment, and situation analysis. Practicum required. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Certification Program or permission of instructor.
