SOWK 558 COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Includes theory and practice of relatively short-term, problem-focused intervention styles. Interventions learned include; cognitive therapy, relaxation training, and systematic desensitization as applied in various social work practice settings. Lecture, small group work, and role playing with a hands-on practice-oriented approach. Prerequisite: Advanced Standing, Regular Standing 2nd year, or permission of the instructor.
