The Spiritual Life Committee is responsible to the Vice President for Student Life.

The committee consists of the following ex officio members: the Campus Chaplain, chair; the Associate Chaplain; the Vice President for Student Life; the Assistant Vice President for Student Life; the Dean of the School of Theology; the University Church senior pastor; the Director of Spiritual Development; the Director of Residential Life and Housing; the Associate Resident Hall Deans (housing); the Dean of Residence and Student Life (Portland campus); the ASWWU President or designee; the Student Chaplain; the Assistant Chaplains for the Men's and Women's Dorms; the CommUnity Coordinator; the spiritual vice presidents of AGA, OPS, and ASWWU (including Portland); the Circle Church Pastor; the Berean Fellowship Director; and the Director of CHE.

The committee also consists of a Walla Walla University Church member selected by the Church Ministries Placement Board, two students selected by ASWWU, one student selected by the Chaplain, two faculty members elected by the faculty, one staff member elected by the Staff Council, and any other members appointed by the President.

The term of membership for non-ex officio non-student members will be two years, which will terminate in alternate years. The term of membership for non-ex officio student members will be one year.

- Approve, coordinate, and give direction to all organized spiritual activities that concern campus life

Review and approve the Spiritual Master Plan and assessments

The committee meets when called by the chair, at least once each quarter during the academic year.
