physiology concepts pertinent to cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions introduction of risk factors, pathophysiology, complications and comorbidities, lab values, diagnostic tests and procedures, medical and surgical intervention, in addition to implications to rehabilitation and potentials. Emphasizes the clinical reasoning framework, basic assessment skills, standardized outcome measures, intervention and current cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation protocols.
