MSNF 600 Family Primary Care: Introduction to Advanced Practice
This course guides the APRN student in developing professional identity, clinical readiness, and other core APRN competencies. After introducing the students to the role, scope, and regulations of APRNs, they will learn how to access and utilize peer-reviewed and evidence-based guidelines and standards of care, develop and coordinate interdisciplinary care, and synthesize prior knowledge and skills to develop clinical readiness in family primary care. The course will include an on-site immersion.
