General Studies Required (GSTR) courses comprise the core of the General Education Program and are required of most Berea College Students, with some exceptions for GSTR 110 and GSTR 332. GSTR 110, 210, 310, 332, and 410 courses are offered every term. General Studies (GST) courses are cross-disciplinary and broader in scope than courses within a particular discipline. (See General Education under “The Academic Program” for more information about Berea’s program.)
