Prerequisites: HP 707 or consent of the instructor This course focuses on genetic research including study design, the informed consent process, regulatory issues, and the reporting of research results. Lectures, workshops, and tutorials will allow participants to understand the practical and ethical issues involved in designing, initiating, and recruiting patients for genetic research.
