PH-600 International Seminar I

This course helps international students successfully adapt to life and graduate study in the United States. Through interactive learning activities (e.g. discussions, role plays, cooperative learning) students will share strategies for adjusting to American culture. Students will identify and practice skills and behaviors necessary for success in the Institute environment and clinical environment. The seminar may also serve as a forum for extra practice with oral and written communication needed in other coursework (e.g. speaking up in class, critically analyzing clinical, theoretical and research literature, practicing classroom presentations for other courses, editing written papers.
