SLP 528 Language Disorders in Children with Lab

Studies of communication deficits (receptive and expressive language to include phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, prelinguistic communication and paralinguistic communication) in school age children and adolescents.  Topics include associated anatomical and physiological structures, identification, differential diagnoses, assessment of conceptual requisites and concrete language skills; language samples; and interactive therapeutic strategies.  The lab will integrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
