IDSY 1130 Industrial Wiring (2-5-4)

This course covers the fundamental concepts of industrial wiring with an emphasis on installation procedures. Topics include grounding; raceways; three-phase systems; transformers (three-phase and single-phase); wire sizing; overcurrent protection; National Electric Code requirements; and industrial lighting systems, switches, receptacles, and cord connectors. Students must pay a $50 supply fee when registering for this course.
