Mission Statement

The mission of the Surgical Technology program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and professional ethics required for entry-level employment as a member of the operating room team. Program faculty will guide students through the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains that will help prepare the student to meet the criteria set forth in the current CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Surgical Technology.
