Program Description

The associate of science degree program in Consumer Economics is a transferable program of study developed in collaboration with the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at The University of Georgia.  

Students learn how fraud and deception, products of varying quality, and inadequate information affect consumer decisions. Graduates of the program receive the associate of science degree in Consumer Economics from Athens Technical College.
