ENG 215 Studies in Questions

This course focuses on a specific major question in literary and cultural studies. Emphasis is on the close reading of primary texts that share and reveal a common concept, problem, theme or concern, and on some of the most relevant historical, cultural, aesthetic and critical context. Students will write analytical and response papers on primary works with introductory-level research in literary and cultural studies. May be repeated for credit, provided the topic differs from those previously studied. 1 Course Credit
