NUR 449 Nursing Leadership/Management

Prerequisites: NUR 447 and NUR 448 with grade of C or better

This course develops students’ knowledge, skills and attitudes in nursing leadership and management. It focuses on an assessment of personal leadership traits, theories and skills of leadership and management, interprofessional core competencies, and career readiness. This course includes four hours of didactic/classroom experience each week. Appropriate standardized exam is required.

NOTE: Taken Spring Term of senior year.
