ART 137 Sculpture and Intermedia
In this course, students will be introduced to the broad interdisciplinary practices that constitute Sculpture and Intermedia, including physical fabrication, performance, site-specific, installation, digital, sound, video, and socially-engaged practices. In addition, students will be introduced to art theory texts that are aimed to expand and challenge conceptions and definitions of what constitutes art materials and practices. Students will also be introduced to the Sculpture and Intermedia group critique format.
Course Fee: $15, plus the cost of materials.
