IR 35000 International Relations Theory

(GE-CrsClt) This course focuses on a close examination of the writings of classical and modern theorists who have had an impact on the study of international relations. Students will also be introduced to different approaches used in studying international relations. Furthermore, key concepts such as "balance of power," "power," "power politics," "levels of analysis," and "negotiations and diplomacy" will be addressed.
