HMS 32000 Domestic & International Terrorism

This course will provide student with in-depth knowledge regarding domestic and international terrorism.  This course will explore various theories of terrorism and will also facilitate identification of trends and patterns of terrorism and hate crimes in the global and local communities.   This course will also be a review of the history and evolution as well as the environmental consequences of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction.  Students will learn how these weapons work, costs involved, prevalence in society and also how they might be used.  Students will also discuss what issues typically arise in debates regarding weapons of mass destruction.
