Areas of Study
The Major is defined as a students’ principal subject or course of study in which he or she intends to earn a bachelor’s degree. A Minor is defined as a student’s secondary subject or course of study. A Track is a predetermined course of study as outlined by a student’s program major or minor. An Emphasis is an additional set of courses or a course of study that is focused on one area of a major or minor.
