Questions investigated will include the following: When did some of the post-colonial immigrants arrive and why did they come? Did they come for religious, political, or social reasons? Where did many of these immigrant groups settle? What problems did they face as new non-English speaking people? How did they keep their groups cohesive and retain some of their cultural traditions while assimilating into our culture.
