ENGL 30100 Methods of Literary Study

This course is an introduction to the critical practices and theoretical approaches that form the foundation of literary studies. Students will read literary texts which explore a particular theme or which belong to a particular genre, as well as scholarly criticism of those texts, in order to increase the sophistication of their own reading and writing practices.
