NPA 38500 Nonprofit Budgeting and Financial Management

This course provides an overview of principles and practices of financial management within nonprofit organizations. Topics covered include appropriate procedures for handling income receipts; developing a budget; reporting mechanisms and requirements, and reading and interpreting financial statements. Emphasis on the unique and accessible presentation of the rules specific to the nonprofit sector while building a framework to access and apply financial information more effectively.
