PHL 31200 Medieval Philosophy

(GE-Phl-Rel) This course studies the arguments of Christian, Arabian, and Jewish philosophers of the middle ages, roughly the fourth to fifteenth centuries. Topics include the relation of faith and reason, metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and social and political philosophy. Only original sources are used.
