PHS 32000 Health Disparities
This course provides an overview of health disparities in the U.S. The scope and magnitude of health disparities in various racial, ethnic and other emerging groups will be identified. Evidence-based strategies for promoting health equity will be explored. The role of cultural competency, advocacy, and social justice in promoting health equity will be explored.
