REL 24000 Introduction to Judaism

(GE-Phl-Rel/CrsClt) This course surveys the origins, development, theology, and practices of Judaism from a historical and developmental perspective. Attention will be given to each of the three major periods of the Jewish religion’s development—the Second Temple, Rabbinic, and Contemporary periods—although emphasis may vary.
