SCI 21400 Ethical Problems in Science

(GE-BioSci) This course must be taken concurrently with CHM 10500 and BSC 11400. This course considers how advances in human technological capabilities pose problems for human societies. The course will focus primarily on threats to human and ecosystem health. Students will evaluate scientific data, the sometimes conflicting interpretations of those data, and their implications for public policy.
