2.7.1 Extension of Time for Degree Completion
Students who anticipate difficulty in completing the certificate or degree requirements within the allotted time (See 2.6.9) should petition for an extension with the program (See 2.2.5).
Continuous enrollment or approved Leaves of Absence are required, and students who do not register for any given semester and do not arrange for an LOA, may be administratively withdrawn from the program. Please consult Institute policies regarding seeking a Leave of Absence and automatic withdrawals.
In the end, it is the goal of the program to help scholars create meaningful learning experiences through thoughtful mentorship, exploration of innovative teaching methods, and through engagement in rigorous scholarship to contribute to the field.
