BH 321 Quality Improvement in Hlthcre

Prerequisites: None. This course introduces students to principles and methods of quality improvement (QI) within healthcare, education, and community settings. Students will examine QI foundations including Lean methodologies, process and data analysis, and change management. Through cases, readings, and application, students will identify opportunities for improvement, analyze contributing factors, and develop strategies to improve outcomes. Emphasis is placed on collaboration through continuous QI. Students will complete a quality improvement project that applies course concepts to a real or simulated challenge.
