English Minor
In the English minor students will learn about the major writers and periods of British and American literature and the cultural traditions found in minority literature. They will also master the basics of language, rhetoric and composition theory and learn how to analyze and critique writing.
Minor Details:
- Requires 30 QH including English courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
- Requires 10 QH of upper level coursework of which 5 QH must be taken at NLU
- 15 QH must be taken at NLU
- Requires a minimum grade of “C” for each course in the minor
Note: The same courses may not be used to satisfy the minor and program major requirements.
