Entrepreneurship Minor
The minor in Entrepreneurship will introduce students to the processes and activities that are needed in a small business and provide opportunities to apply these in real world situations. The coursework will prepare students to use an entrepreneurial mindset in developing a sound business model and launching it into practice as students will build their own small business.
This minor is offered in a blended format.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
At the completion of the Entrepreneurship minor, students will be able to:
- Identify the primary elements and functions within a small business or start-up business venture.
- Apply the primary elements in demonstrating the entrepreneurial mindset.
- Design and build financial models for use in small business and start-up business ventures
Minor Details:
- Requires 30 QH for completion
- 15 QH must be completed at NLU
- Requires a minimum grade of "C" for each course in the minor
Note: The same courses may not be used to satisfy the minor, concentration, and/or program major requirements.

Note:
ENT 295 is the Entrepreneurship minor pre-requisite. For students where
CSS 200 is required for their major,
MKT 410 or
MKT 324 will fulfill the 5 QH needed to complete the minor.
