Artificial Intelligence Concentration
This concentration provides students access to an industry relevant area, allowing them to consider career opportunities in artificial intelligence, foster innovation, make informed decisions, address societal challenges, and promote ethical development.
Program Learning Outcomes:
PLO 1 - Understand, navigate, and contribute to a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
PLO 2 - Automate and efficiently solve problems across a wide range of tasks and domains.
PLO 3 - Extract insights from large datasets and predict future outcomes.
PLO 4 - Understand the ethical considerations, biases, and implications associated with AI systems, promoting responsible use and mitigating potential risks.
Concentration Details:
- Requires 15 QH for completion
- Requires a minimum grade of "C" for each course in the concentration
- A minimum of 5 QH must be taken at NLU
Note: The same courses may not be used to satisfy the concentration and program major requirements.
