Refund Policy

The refund policy in effect when a student drops a single course or completely withdraws from all courses during a period of enrollment varies depending on which campus the student attends, which program they are enrolled in and whether they are a financial aid recipient. The examples on the following pages are sample institutional policies. The percentages calculated are based on the number of days of classes. Courses that do not meet are treated as those with standard schedules:
Additional state and federal refund policies may apply. Federal refund calculations will be calculated for financial aid recipients who withdraw from all course or who have been deemed an unofficial withdrawal. Financial aid is refunded in the following order as prescribed by law and regulation:
- Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans
- Federal Direct Subsidized loans
- Federal Direct PLUS/GPLUS loans
- Federal Pell Grants
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
- Teach Grant
- Other Federal, State, private or institutional aid
- The student
