DEH 2602 Periodontics
An intensive comprehensive study of chronic inflammatory periodontal disease. An analysis and correlation of etiology, immunology, clinical and radiographic diagnosis, treatment planning, prognosis and oral therapy are presented. A special emphasis is placed on the role of the dental hygienist in preventive oral therapy. Clinical experiences are coordinated with DEH 1800. Periodontal procedures included in this study are within the legal scope of practice of the dental hygienist.
