WS 471 Global Feminisms
Themes and theoretical principles of global feminisms, with special emphasis placed on Third World feminist movements. Themes explored include colonialism, globalization, nationalism and nation-building, representation, global economies, and the politics of race, gender, class, sexuality, and nation. Also offered for graduate-level credit as WS 571 and may be taken only only once for credit.
