Comm 516 Communicating Environmental Controversies
With a special emphasis on environmental extremes and controversies, this course explores how everyday communication shapes the way we think about, talk about, and relate to the natural world. The class covers the latest theoretical and practical approaches to environmental communication, the makeup of environmental controversies, and the different factors that shape public opinion on those controversies within the United States.
