Mus 437 Keyboard Literature I
A study of Baroque and Classical literature for keyboard instruments. In addition to providing an overview of the historical development of keyboard music, specific works from the repertoire of each period, including traditional western as well as non-traditional and non-western works, will be selected for in-depth study. Intended primarily for piano majors. This is the first course in a sequence of two:
Mus 437 and
Mus 438.
